Susana Escoda - Dance and Palms

 

Born in Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) in June 1977.

 

She started dancing at the age of 7 at the Ana Marquez school of dancing.

 

She has studied with legends as: Matilde Coral, Rafael "El Negro", El Güito, Manolete, Antonio Canales, Eva "La Yerbabuena", Belén Maya and other numerous great artists. 

 

From a very young age she has been fortunate enough to perform at big festivals, winning in the " second dance contest of the Ciutat de l'Hospitalet" the "Carmen Amaya" prize giving rise to participate in the "IV Muestra de baile flamenco" Ciutat de l'Hospitalet sharing the stage with greats like Wicker, Antonio "El Pipa" Yolanda Heredia, Belén Maya, etc ...

 

She has traveled throughout Europe and Japan as solo dance partner of Antonio "El Toleo". She has worked for many years in the tablao "The Cordovan".

 

She is currently representing the work of "Maria de la O" in

the Palau de la Música.
