Oliver Haldon - flamenco guitar

 

 

Óliver Haldón "lefty (El Zurdo)“, born in Barcelona of andalusian family.

 

He graduated in flamenco guitar at the Superior College of Music of Catalonia (ESMUC).

 

From a young age he began to compose his own music and starts performing at the most important flamenco clubs of Barcelona, starting at Tarantos, later at the Tablao de Carmen, where he performed several years sharpening his professional skills and finally at the tablao Cordobes. During this time, he performs in various tablaos and also with different dance companies, including Somorrostro, in which he plays as lead guitarist in the shows "Wanderings" and "Inconexus XXI", performing at the National Theatre of Catalonia (TNC) and Condal Theatre among others. He also performs in different festivals such as Mont Demarsan (France), La Notte Bianca (Roma), Expo de Zaragoza, World Music Festival in Prague ...

 

He combines his work as guitarist with music production and composition, in addition to writing his own songs for guitar, he also writes for artists such as Duquende, the Tana and Montse Cortés, all of them performing regularly with Paco de Lucía.
